We've loved working on your Living Room and to accompany your room design we've included a design narrative below which explains how the concept works as a whole, including some tips- check it out!

Your shopping list:

You’ll see that we’ve included a number of alternatives at different price points for each category in your shopping list, just click 'alternatives' to reveal these. You’ll also see that the overall price at the bottom will update accordingly.

There are a small selection of retailers who only deliver directly to the account holder therefore we are unable to offer as part of our personal shopping service. If you do select anything from these retailers there is a handy link on the product which takes you to the retailers' site for you to purchase directly.

Please bear in mind that items can go out of stock quickly, so if you really love certain items it is best to purchase those first. However your shopping list will stay open as long as you like, so you can purchase the key pieces first and then add to them whenever you are ready.

Design Narrative:

As you enter your Living Room you will first set eyes on your beautiful new sofa. It is just the right mix of traditional with its turned timber legs and classic proportions, whilst the gorgeous grey velvet finish gives it a luxurious feel. It needs very little plumping and the fully removable covers and 'smart' velvet option mean that it is perfect for families.

Adorning your sofa are a plethora of cushions in navy, spiced orange and cream linen. These accent colours set the tone for the whole room and work beautifully together to achieve a harmonious and eye-catching design. For extra comfort we have added a cosy charcoal and silver throw for those chilly winter evenings.

We have allowed for a deep navy feature wall in Farrow and Ball Hague Blue, behind your sofa which gives a dramatic contrast and sets the sofa off perfectly. The rest of the walls are to be painted in Farrow and Ball Shadow White, which has a warm grey tone that works well when paired with the navy and gives enough light to walls in north facing rooms.

To complement the sofa we have allowed for two new armchairs in a rich navy tone. The compact and timeless design pairs well with the proposed sofa, tying in with it's velvet upholstered finish. The dark blue tone adds contrast to the vista and is finished off perfectly with a pop of spiced orange and cream from the proposed new cushions.

To either side of the sofa we have allowed for a new side table. With its elegantly curved drawer and marble top, this piece gives you a perfect mix of practicality and character.

In front of the new sofa will sit a new upholstered footstool in a eye-catching spiced orange colour. This ottoman is a hard working piece as not only does it give you an extra space to sit or rest your feet, it also has internal storage and is covered with a smart velvet.

To tie these furniture pieces together we have allowed for a gorgeous new rug from Calvin Klein. This grey and ivory rug complements the colour scheme and adds interest with its subtle abstract design, whilst anchoring the main living space perfectly.

We have allowed for a large feature piece of artwork to the end wall in the room to give it a real wow factor. Hand finished with acrylic paint, the artwork has a unique soulful design using mainly greys and blues which work well with the rest of the living room scheme.

To the corner of the room you will see a fantastic Bird of Paradise plant. This, alongside the Kentia Palm at the other end of the room, will add some lush greenery and interest to your room.

To your window vista we have allowed for a new winged ottoman in a stone linen finish. This ottoman will give you clever storage as well as being a beautiful place to sit and enjoy your lovely views. In a linen fabric will give it a refreshing contrast to the velvet of the other furniture pieces. To give the room balance we have added in cream linen cushions to the sofa and armchairs, which set off the design beautifully!
