We've loved working on this space and to accompany your room design we've included a design narrative below which explains how the concept works as a whole - check it out!

Your shopping list:

You’ll see that we’ve included a number of alternatives at different price points for each category in your shopping list, just click 'alternatives' to reveal these. You can then click the arrows to move the different products in and out of your shopping list, so have a play with different combinations. You’ll also see that the overall price at the bottom will update accordingly.

There are a small selection of retailers who only deliver directly to the account holder therefore we are unable to offer as part of our personal shopping service. If you do select anything from these retailers there is a handy link on the product which takes you to the retailers' site for you to purchase directly.

Please bear in mind that items can go out of stock quickly, so if you really love certain items it is best to purchase those first. However your shopping list will stay open as long as you like, so you can purchase the key pieces first and then add to them whenever you are ready.

Design Narrative:

As you walk into your refreshed Front Living Room you will instantly be drawn to the new overmantle mirror. This is to be custom made due to the generous proportions of your beautiful fireplace. With its window pane design and copper edging, this mirror will be an individual statement whilst reflecting the grandeur of the room. We are in the process of obtaining a quote for the mirror and this will be with you as soon as possible. The fireplace speaks for itself so we have opted for only a few antique black candlesticks on the mantlepiece to soften and a lantern to the hearth.

In front of your feature fireplace will be your two existing sofas. As discussed at our meeting, swapping your navy sofa out for the grey button backed sofa has really helped to add cohesion to the seating area. A plethora of cushions in terracotta, linen, navy and grey blue add comfort and colour. The two sofa's sit magnificently on a new distressed rug which is detailed with an intricate pattern that’s aged and worn as if by centuries of time whilst picking up many of the colours in the cushions. Finishing off the area is your existing ottoman which works well with the button backed sofa, not forgetting its fabulous turned legs!

To the left of the fireplace you will see your new feature gallery wall. This includes a mixture of artworks, prints and also some existing repurposed pieces. We recommend that you hire a company to fit your artwork. Not only do they have a good eye for hanging art, they can also purpose-build frames for each piece that requires it, giving you a truly unique finish at a reasonable cost. We are happy to put you in touch with our preferred supplier if you wish.

To the left of the gallery wall you will find your new Bar Cart in an antique gold finish. This beautiful feature has gorgeous intricate detailing, giving it an exquisitely vintage look, which works so well in this setting. As well as being a conversation piece, the bar cart adds some playfulness and glamour to the room which is perfect for entertaining guests. To finish off this area we have added in a large leafy plant next to the bar cart and a new floor standing lamp to the left hand side of the windows. As well as adding some layered lighting to the room this floor lamp adds a feeling of timeless elegance, with its turned timber stem and handmade gathered empire shade in a striking black and white ikat pattern.

To the right of the fireplace you will see your repurposed wooden sideboard which fits perfectly in place. Above we have given your existing table lamp base a new lease of life by adding a dramatic black silk shade with a warm gold interior. On the wall behind we have added just a single repurposed piece of artwork- the juxtaposition between the differing amounts of artwork in the room works really well giving a truly individual design!
