We've loved working on this space and to accompany your room design we've included a design narrative below which explains how the concept works as a whole, including some tips- check it out!

If you do select anything from these retailers there is a handy link on the product which takes you to the retailers' site for you to purchase directly.

Please bear in mind that items can go out of stock quickly, so if you really love certain items it is best to purchase those first. However your shopping list will stay open as long as you like, so you can purchase the key pieces first and then add to them whenever you are ready.

Design Narrative:

As you walk through your kitchen towards your dining area you will be drawn to the brightly coloured trio of prints that adorns the back wall. Framed in oak, this striking set of prints will add character and personality to the space. The largest of the three prints sits centrally, set against a dark navy background this leafy print adds organic movement to the walls, the playful tones sing beside your existing Jessica Ford print. The last print of the set is a striking piece by the Swedish artist Sofia Lind, the pattern within the print adds a soft geometric touch to the gallery wall.

Your new artwork will sit between a pair of enamel Anglepoise wall lights. An iconic design classic that will help to elevate the space and offer a gorgeous glow in the evening.

Sitting in front of your feature artwork wall is your existing dining table and bench, it's characterful timber top and grey stained legs adding warmth to the space. We have proposed pairing your existing table and bench with another design classic; the wishbone chair. The painted grey finish and woven seat pad helps modernise the wishbone dining chairs and ties them in nicely with your kitchen and existing dining set.

To finish off the dining set up we have allowed for a sculptural flush mount ceiling light above, this will give you plenty of light for dining whilst allowing full view to the feature artwork wall. Meanwhile a sheepskin rug and a touch of greenery will soften the space.

Beside your dining table is your existing sofa, now adorned with cushions in coral, navy and mustard echoing the tones found within the artwork. Adding new cushions and repurposing your existing Design House Stockholm cushion will make the sofa feel almost like new.

New full length, Linwood fabric curtains to your patio doors and roman blinds to your kitchen windows will finish off the space. The Prisma fabric is perfect for the space as its strong chevron pattern adds interest without being incongruous within the neutral kitchen. To add a touch of drama, we recommend getting your curtains made slightly longer than the door height to create a gentle pooling effect of fabric at the base.
