We've loved working on your Playroom and to accompany your room design we've included a design narrative below which explains how the concept works as a whole, including some tips- check it out!

As part of the free personal shopping service you have the option of ordering your items directly through us by adding them to your shopping basket. This is particularly helpful if you are ordering from numerous retailers as you only have to add your details once and our personal shopping team will sort the rest!

You’ll see that we’ve included a number of alternatives at different price points for each category in your shopping list, just click 'alternatives' to reveal these. You can then click the arrows to move the different products in and out of your shopping list, so have a play with different combinations. You’ll also see that the overall price at the bottom will update accordingly.

There are a small selection of retailers who only deliver directly to the account holder therefore we are unable to offer as part of our personal shopping service. If you do select anything from these retailers there is a handy link on the product which takes you to the retailers' site for you to purchase directly.

Please bear in mind that items can go out of stock quickly, so if you really love certain items it is best to purchase those first. However your shopping list will stay open as long as you like, so you can purchase the key pieces first and then add to them whenever you are ready.

Design Narrative:

The focal point of your brand new playroom is undoubtedly the fun feature wall mural, its geometric shapes give the room character and interest. We have carefully selected a colour palette of soft white-blue, sky blue, navy and rose pink, all of which tie in beautifully with the palette of your bedroom but also introduce some fresh and dramatic colours to the space. The rest of the walls are to be painted in Dulux Trade 85GG 76/039 which is a white-blue tone, the perfect refreshing and energising base colour for this space. As before, we would advise getting samples of all paint colours prior to application, allowing to paint different walls so you can see how the paint colour looks in sunlight and shadow.

In front of your feature geometric mural sits your new storage unit, the insert drawers and cabinets are great for stowing away toys, games and art supplies while the open shelving sections are perfect for displaying your most treasured items. We have allowed for two options to the storage system - Option One includes two high level storage units which will maximise storage space. Option Two is a tiered approach which gives storage space as well as additional workspace and offers the perfect location for a lamp to soften the room. Have a think about which option will work best for you.

Next to the storage unit is your new creative space, complete with a compact round table in solid oak and two pastel blue chairs. This table will provide you and your friends with the perfect spot to sit and colour, be creative or play board games. It's grown up size means that if Mum or Dad want to join the fun there is plenty of room!

Another key feature within your new playroom is your new double sofa bed in a beautiful sherbet blue shade. Day-to-day this sofa bed is great for chilling out while reading or playing however it is the pull out bed feature that makes this sofa a stand out piece in the room. Super-handy for sleepovers, the sofa bed transforms into a comfy double bed fit for both you and your bestie! Underfoot is a fluffy pink rug perfect to sink your toes into!

Finishing off the sofa bed vista is a plethora of cushions that echo the pink and navy tones in your wall mural and a large 'M' cushion to give a personal touch to the room.

To the left of your sofa bed is your new gallery wall of artwork to include a selection of prints with a subtle Scandi feel including a fab world map and polka dot prints. These will be finished off with oak frames and poster hangers to mirror the oak finishes found throughout your new playroom.
