We've loved working on your Bedroom and to accompany your room design we've included a design narrative below which explains how the concept works as a whole, including some tips- check it out!

Your shopping list:

This is particularly helpful if you are ordering from numerous retailers as you only have to add your details once and our personal shopping team will sort the rest!

You’ll see that we’ve included a number of alternatives at different price points for each category in your shopping list, just click 'alternatives' to reveal these. You can then click the arrows to move the different products in and out of your shopping list, so have a play with different combinations. You’ll also see that the overall price at the bottom will update accordingly.

There are a small selection of retailers who only deliver directly to the account holder therefore we are unable to offer as part of our personal shopping service. If you do select anything from these retailers there is a handy link on the product which takes you to the retailers' site for you to purchase directly.

Please bear in mind that items can go out of stock quickly, so if you really love certain items it is best to purchase those first. However your shopping list will stay open as long as you like, so you can purchase the key pieces first and then add to them whenever you are ready.

Design Narrative:

On entering your new bedroom you will see your walls painted in a fab two-tone Scandi style. Above, we have opted for Farrow & Ball, Salt which is a crisp grey white whilst below we have chosen a Dulux Trade Colour ref: 74GG 60/059. This colour is a light sky blue with a hint of green and can be purchased by your decorator from a Dulux Trade Centre. As always, we would advise getting samples of all paint colours prior to application, allowing to paint different walls so you can see how the paint colour looks in sunlight and shadow.

Your existing daybed will be in the same position but we have allowed for new textured bed linen in a beautiful blush pink tone. Adorning the bed will also be new cushions in bright pastels pops to create interest and character.

Above the bed you will see a new gallery wall of artwork to include a selection of prints with a Scandinavian feel that have positive messages. Perfect for you to wake up to every morning!

Next to the daybed you will see a new modular section of drawers that will work really hard in your room as they will not only give you plenty of storage but will also act to create a new bench seat and bedside table all in one! We have added a desk lamp to the right of the seat for you to enjoy reading last thing at night and have added in an upholstered seat pad and scatter cushions to the left hand that will act as a comfy seat to chill out when watching television. Regarding the seat pad, it would be best if you got a local upholsterer to make this for you so you can get the exact measurements you require. If you need to find an upholsterer then Checkatrade is a great place to start as you can check out ratings and reviews from other customers before making contact. We have added a fabric choice to the shopping list for the seat pad and can send you a sample if required, just let us know.

Further to this, we have allowed for a new beanbag in a faux fur finish which will add extra seating for friends or to act as a comfy footstool. This vista will look fab as you walk into the room (we can’t wait to see some photos of the finished space!).

Next to the bench seat we have allowed for a new wardrobe in an Oak effect finish. This acts to warm up the room and balances it out nicely with the white bench seat. The double wardrobe has two drawers beneath and well as hanging space, giving you plenty of storage alongside your new bench seating.

On the opposite side of the room you will see your new desk and chest of drawers. We have again used a mix of timber effect and white finishes to balance out the room nicely. The desk will give you a dedicated place to sit and complete your homework. We have added a lamp and fun new cactus desk tidy so you will always be ready to work! In front of your desk you will see your new desk chair. In a fun teal colour it adds personality to the space as well as being comfy to sit in with its plastic resin finish. Above your desk you will see your new wall shelving with room for some books, faux plants and any other finishing touches you desire.

To the right of your desk will be your new chest of drawers. The chest has plenty of storage and soft close doors (matching the bench unit opposite). On top of the chest will sit your new television and a couple of finishing touches such as a leaning piece of artwork and a plant pot to add colour.

On the floor you will see your new circular rug. Gentle in colour with its grey and cream tones, it adds a sunburst feel to the room whilst being cosy underfoot.

Regarding window treatments we have opted for new pencil pleat curtains in a duck egg blue. We love the idea of trying to match the fabric to the blue wall colour so it may be worth taking a paint colour card with you whilst shopping to match up the curtains to the lower wall colour. The curtains are blackout as well so you can enjoy a really good sleep and wake up feeling refreshed! A new white curtain pole and fun pompom tie backs complete the look.
